James "Jim or Jimbo" Chambers passed away on June 18th 2025 in Astoria Oregon. He was 65 years young.
Born on September 21, 1959, in Tongue Point, Oregon. Jim grew up surrounded by the natural beauty of the Pacific Northwest. A landscape that would shape his lifelong love for the outdoors. He graduated from Seaside High School in 1977, laying the foundation for a life rooted in community and nature.
Jim was an avid outdoorsman who found joy and fulfillment in hunting and fishing. Whether casting a line into a quiet stream or tracking game through the forest, he embraced the challenges and serenity of the forest. His passion for the outdoors was matched by his enthusiasm for golf, a sport he enjoyed both for its precision and camaraderie.
Jim is survived by his step mom Elizabeth Chambers and seven brothers and sisters, nieces and nephews, many aunts and uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his father Robert Chambers, and his mom Judith Johanson Newland. Jim had recently accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as his savior. May this and the many memories bring comfort to the many friends and family that he has left behind. He will now be among the landscapes and adventures that he loved so dearly.
