James Charrier Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Gallagher Funeral Home and Crematory - Ball on Feb. 8, 2025.
James Milton Charrier, beloved son, and brother, passed peacefully on January 12, 2025, at the age of 62.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 8, 2025, at 1:00 pm at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses in Pineville, Louisiana.
James was preceded in death by his father, Jerry Charrier, and his brother, Sherman Charrier.
He is survived by his loving mother, Evelyn Charrier, countless beloved aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
James was born on December 10, 1962, to Evelyn and Jerry Charrier. His strong faith and dedication to Jehovah guided his life, and he was baptized as one of Jehovah's Witnesses on March 5, 1988. James found joy in sharing his faith with others and was an active participant in his ministry, frequently pioneering and showing immense devotion in his service to Jehovah God. He also played an integral part in a program that shared DVDs from the Kingdom Hall with local prison inmates, providing them with the opportunity to learn about the word of Jehovah.
James was always an avid learner and could often be found at his computer, his favorite place to be. His natural curiosity and passion for technology led him to become the go-to person for all things tech-related. The family always turned to him for help or guidance with technology. James was always ready and willing to help anyone with any questions, and when he didn't know the answer, he would do whatever research necessary to find it. Whether it was troubleshooting computer issues or helping someone get familiar with new devices, James was a patient and reliable source of knowledge.
In his free time, James enjoyed watching sports, with football being one of his greatest passions. His all-time favorite team was the Dallas Cowboys, followed closely by the Saints and the Patriots. James also shared a deep love for Nascar racing, a passion he enjoyed with his brother, Sherman. Additionally, James had a great love for watching movies, always looking forward to the latest releases. He enjoyed watching them with friends and family, sharing in the excitement of a good film.
James also kept in touch with his loved ones through instant messaging, always checking in to see how they were doing. He enjoyed hearing from family and friends and loved to stay updated on what was going on in their lives.
