James M. "Jim" Charves Jr.

CHARVES, James M., Jr. of West Roxbury passed peacefully surrounded by his loving family on July 31, 2022. "Jim" was born to Alice (Ruark) Charves and James M. Charves Sr. on August 16, 1957 in Cambridge, MA and grew up in Arlington and later Falmouth, MA. Cape Cod is where his heart belonged and where he met his beloved wife Lisa (Colucci) Charves.

Jim is also survived by his two sons, James M. Charves, III and Andrew J. Charves both of West Roxbury, his wheaten terrier companion, Baxter, his sister, Patty Welch and her husband Tom of Sandwich, his twin brother John Charves and his wife Cheryl of Harwich, and many nieces, nephews, brother and sister in-laws.

Anyone who knew Jim knows how much he loved his family, his home and his dog. He was an excellent cook, loved to entertain, and was a dear friend to many.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to visit with the family in the William J.
