James “Jimmy” E. Chilson, 66, of Topeka passed away on Monday October 6, 2025. He was born November 10, 1958 in Topeka the son of Charles and Vera Thomas Chilson. Jimmy served in the United States Army and later worked most of his life in Topeka. Do to failing health, Jimmy lived at a care facility at Nortonville for several years before returning to Topeka.
Jimmy was preceded in death by his parents Charles and Vera.
Veterans honors will be conducted at the Topeka Cemetery Garden Chapel Friday October 17, 2025 at 1:00 pm. www.ppdfuneral.com
