James Richard Close

James Richard Close, born on January 11, 1982, in Lynn, Massachusetts, and raised in Haverhill Massachusetts, where he built his life surrounded by friends, family, laughter, and love. He worked as a laborer and in construction- a job he took pride in, even if his clumsy moments kept everyone smiling.

James was a true family man. He loved being surrounded by his loved ones, sharing jokes, telling stories, and creating memories that will be treasured forever. His humor, his heart, and the way he showed up no matter what made him unforgettable.

He is preceded in death by his beloved mother, Donna McCarthy, and his little sister, Jessica Close. We take comfort in knowing he is reunited with them and held in God's eternal presence and peace.

James leaves behind a large and loving group of friends and family who will carry his memory forever.

He is survived by his father, Nathan Close Sr. His daughters Serenity Close, Sara Walker, Soleil Valentine, and his son, Xavier Courtois and his beautiful granddaughter, Ivy'anna Morris.

He also leaves behind his sisters, Virginia Buckley, Rosezetta Bloom, Lori Yapor, Amy Rivera, Casandra Falcon and Rikki-lee Mendes. His brothers, John Kendrick, Tyson Ruben, and Nathan Close Jr.

James also leaves behind many nieces and nephews, all of whom he loved deeply and helped guide and raise. His presence, support, and the lessons he shared will stay with each of them for the rest of their lives.

May James rest in eternal paradise, embraced by God's love, reunited with his mother and sister, and watching over the family and loved ones who cherished him.
