Cody is survived by his father, Lawrence Red Wing of Rapid City, SD; siblings, Darrell Red Wing of Denver, CO, Jesse (Tasheena) Red Wing of Pine Ridge, SD, and Taelor Red Wing of Rapid City, SD; children, Stormy Red Wing and Spirit Red Wing both of Brookings, SD, and Chloe Red Wing and Xzhavier Red Wing both of Rapid City, SD; grandsons, Uriah Red Wing and Kaiden Red Wing; aunt, Lindy Trueblood of Rapid City, SD; nieces & nephews, Eric Cottier, Jaylee Red Wing, Michael & Harlee Carlow, and Charlee Schreiner; and significant other, Amber Blacksmith of Brookings, SD.
Cody was preceded in death by his mother, Tinky Steele; daughter, Whisper Cottier; grandfather, Darrell "Binky" Steele; and aunt, Dolly Steele.
