James Eward Collick Sr.

EDDIE'S LIFE STORY
Minister James Edward Collick, Sr., better known as "Eddie" to most, was a resident of Salisbury, Maryland. He was born to the late Burley and Lucille Collick on April 19, 1953 in Pocomoke, Maryland. The angels quietly escorted him to his heavenly home on Tuesday, September 17, 2024 at this home in Salisbury, Maryland.
Eddie received his formal education in the Worcester County public school system. He enlisted and served honorably in the United States Marine Corps. After retiring from the Marine Corps, Eddie worked several jobs including Southern States, Silco gas station, Delmarva Farms and Tyson Foods until he became ill.
Eddie was joined in holy matrimony to the love of his life for fifty (50) years, Grace Collick. He was a very kind person to everyone he met. Eddie loved his wife, children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
He gave his life to Christ and continued to serve Him his entire life. He was ordained as a minister and walked faithfully in his calling. He was a good provider, father and grandfather, but most of all he loved Christ Jesus.
Eddie leaves to cherish his memories: his wife, Grace; children, Valarie Johnson, James Collick, Jr. (Inez) and Shavonne Collick; eighteen (18) grandchildren; twenty-one (21) great grandchildren; one brother, John Collick, Sr. (Denise); one sister, Leatha Cousar; four sisters-in-law, Geraldine White, Betty Johnson, Josephine Matthews and Henrietta Harmon; one brother-in-law, Elton Thomas (April) and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by: his parents, Burley and Lucille Collick; one daughter, Della Knox; two sisters, Sandra Foreman and Mariah Duffy; two brothers, Burley Collick, Jr. and Floyd Collick; three grandchildren, Samson and Mylo Collick and Kendrice "KJ" Savage.
Eddie will be missed by every one who knew him but there is comfort in knowing that he loved the Lord and he is now resting in the Lord.
