James “Jim” Conner Sr., 62, of Erwinville, Louisiana, a U.S. Army National Guard veteran, and a director of transportation at Big River Industries, died in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, on the morning of Thursday, October 19, 2000. Visiting hours are scheduled for Friday, October 20, 2000, 4-9 p.m., at Wilbert Funeral Home, 440 South Alexander Avenue, Port Allen, Louisiana. Further visiting hours are scheduled for Saturday, October 21, 9 a.m. until time of funeral services at 11 a.m. Interment will be at Greek Oaks Memorial Park, Baton Rouge.
