James Frank Conrad

James Frank Conrad - Age 88 - of Little Creek Road North West, Arab died Saturday, March 27, 2010 in Marshall Medical Center North E. R. of possible heart failure. Mr. Conrad was born in the State of Pennsylvania, July 25, 1921, the Son of John Joseph Conrad and Elizabeth Ellen Swain Conrad. He was married to the former Arlene Claburn Conrad who preceded him in death in 2007. He was also preceded in death by a Son: James Edward Conrad. Mr. Conrad served his Country during World War II in the U.S. Army and was Honorably discharged as Private First Class. He was retired from NASA, had lived in the Arab area for the past 60 plus years and attended Saint William Catholic Church, Guntersville. He is survived by Four Sons and a Daughter; 12 Grandchildren and 15 Great Grandchildren. Graveside Service will be 2:00 p.m. Friday, April 2, 2010 in Brashiers Chapel Cemetery, Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel, directing. Pallbearers will be Clint Conrad, Eric Conrad, Fred Conrad, John Conrad, Ryan Conrad and Ray Saldana. Visitation will be from 12 to 1:30 p.m. also on Friday, April 2, 2010 at Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel.
