James “Jim” Franklin Cook Jr., of Saint Charles, MO, passed away Wednesday, July 30, 2025, at the age of 69. Beloved husband of Rebecca S. Cook; cherished son of the late Josephine Harrison Green Cook and the late James Franklin Cook Sr.; devoted father of Jamie Cook, James "Jay" Franklin Cook III, Clayton Cook, and stepfather of Marty (Monica) Zangaro, Brett (Casondra) Zangaro, Cristina (Steven "Junior") Kaufman, and Micki McKnight; loving grandfather of Noah, Steven, Liam, Gabriel, AJ, Tyler, Emma Rose, Faith, and Archer; dear brother of Carol (Joana Freedman) Cook, and brother-in-law of Laura (Gary) Hoferkamp and Craig (Cynthia) Topp; treasured cousin of Bryan Law, Christian (Suzanne) Law, and Lisa (Mark) Waller; dog dad to his fur babies, Morgan and Barry; beloved uncle and friend to many.

Jim was bigger than life! He was a gifted musician, playing multiple instruments such as keyboard, drums, guitars and he also sang. Jim had a deep love for music, still playing in a band as recent as last week. He loved motorcycles since he was a young child and was a proud owner of a Harley in later years. Jim's constant joy and ability to light up a room and ability to make anyone laugh in quite literally in any situation will be truly missed. Jim was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Memorials may be made in Jim's memory to a charity of the donor's choice.
