James H. "Tink" Cooper III

James H. "Tink" Cooper, III, 74, of Sinking Spring, passed away Monday, January 5, 2026 at Berks Heim. He was the husband of Susan J. (Schlegel) Cooper, with whom he shared 51 years of marriage on Oct. 26th.
Tink, a son of the late James H. and Jeanne (Bolig) Cooper, Jr., was born in Reading. In addition to his wife, he is survived by two sons, Ian B. Cooper, husband of Melissa, and Jason King; and two daughters, Danielle R., wife of Jon Yucis, and Davida King; two brothers, Dale Cooper, and Alonzo Cooper; a sister, Debra Cooper; and six grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son, James H. "Jim" Cooper, IV; and a sister, Cynthia Cooper.
He was a 1970 graduate of Reading High School and retired from FORTNA, in West Reading.
He was in various bands, playing bass and singing since high school. Tink was an avid fisherman and a fan of the Philadelphia Eagles. Go Birds!
There will be a casual Celebration of Life from 1-4:00 PM, Saturday, January 31st, at Lincoln Park Fire Company Banquet Hall, 310 Old Fritztown Rd., Shillington. Lamm & Witman Funeral Home, 243 W.
