James (Jim Bob) Robert Cordonnier, 76, Faucett, Missouri, passed away December 13, 2024 at home. He lived in Faucett since 1973 moving from St. Joseph, Missouri. He was born on August 16, 1948 to James Robert and Norma Lavone Cordonnier. Jim Bob graduated from Benton High School. He was a dedicated supporter of the IBEW as a master electrician working primarily at Schultz Electric. He was an avid hunter, fisherman, and taught electrical courses at Hillyards Technical School. He was also an expert trap shooter, winning many competitions to include earning the Missouri state title. He was a selfless father known for his generosity to friends. He loved boating, skiing, and fishing on Lake Contrary where he grew up.
He married Anita Canterbury-Todd, November 10th, 1973 in St. Joseph, Missouri. He is survived by his wife, his mother, Norma Cordonnier, two sons, Ricky Todd (Martha) and Timothy Cordonnier; a daughter, Rhonda Tuck (Brad), 7 grandchildren, and 9 great grandchildren, and a sister, Diana Myers. He was preceded in death by his father, James "Corky", and a sister, Patricia King. He dedicated his life to the people that he loved, always ensuring that family came first. He was dearly loved. He will be cremated under the care of the Rupp Funeral Home. There will be a celebration of Jim Bobs life held this coming summer. Online condolence and obituary at www.ruppfuneral.com

Jim Bob, I will miss not seeing you when I come back to Missouri always having a drink every time I come back sharing memories of your dad and my dad together and the things they used to do you will be greatly missed. And of course, all of the great times we all used to have down at the lake.
