James Willis "Will" Crace, age 83, of Staffordsville, Kentucky, passed away Wednesday at his home.
James was born November 5, 1941 in Johnson County, Kentucky, son of the late Guy Crace and Dessie L. Hannah Crace. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by siblings, Charles Crace, Raymond Crace, Fred Crace, Anna Jewel Hitchcock, Ernestine Spurlock, and Gladys M. Ratliff.
He is survived by his wife, Yvonne Crace; one daughter, Vanessa (Ray) Stephens of Staffordsville, Kentucky; one son, Robert Crace of Staffordsville, Kentucky; three brothers, Guy Franklin Crace of Dayton, Ohio, Leondis (Phyllis) Crace of Staffordsville, Kentucky and Eulas E. (Vicki) Crace of Paintsville, Kentucky; four grandchildren, James Russell Preston and Abbygail Maelynn Preston both of Staffordsville, Kentucky, Sean Stephens of Oceana, Virginia and Chara Bailey of Georgetown, Kentucky; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 p.m. Saturday in the Jones-Preston Funeral Chapel with Harold Williams officiating. Burial will follow at Highland Memorial Park, Staffordsville, Kentucky. Friends may visit the Jones-Preston Funeral Home from 1:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Friday and 9:00 a.m. until time of service at 1:00 p.m. Saturday.
