James Howard Cunningham, age 85 of Moundsville, WV, passed away on July 19, 2025 surrounded by family at his home. Jim was born on October 3, 1939 in Lynn Camp, WV. He graduated from Moundsville High School, and worked as a skilled carpenter, and electrician for 34 years at PPG Industries. Jim loved God, spending time with his family, working in his garden, cooking, and golfing with his buddies at the Moundsville Country Club. Jim was friendly with everyone he met, a little ornery in a good way, and a fine example of what a man should be.
Jim is survived by his wife, Carlene Kay Yeater, Daughters, Christy Campbell (Duane Campbell), and Jamie Brannan (Steve Kosek), Grandchildren, Nicole Ennis, Jeri Campbell, Ian Brannan (April), and Zoe Kosek, Great Grandchildren, Nicole Ridgely, Isaac Ridgely, Arley Ennis, Ripley Campbell, Annalese Ennis, and Eve Lynn Ennis. Brother, John Cunningham (Bunny), Niece, Lori Ann Schoor (Tom), Nephew, Johnny Cunningham (Debbie), Sister, Susan Cunningham Walker. Sister-In-Law, Susie Inclan (Butch), Nephews, Alex Inclan, and Eric Inclan, Sister-In-law, Sharon Yeater, Niece, Ashley Verma, Nephew, Seth Yeater, Sister-In-Law, Shelley Yeater, Nephew, Andy Yeater. And his doodle doodle, LuLu.
Jim was preceded in death by his Mother, Anna Gouldsberry Iams, and his Father, John Francis Cunningham, Step-Father, William Iams, Brother, Stephen Cunningham, Nephew, Thomas "Tommy" Glenn Cunningham, Father and Mother-In-Law, Carl and Mary Yeater, Brother-In-Law, John Yeater.
A private viewing for immediate family only will be held on 07-21-2025. Jim's final resting place will be Goose Rock, Lynn Camp, WV.
