"Tic", as he was called by many friends, and "Billy", as he was called by family, was a devoted father and friend.
If you knew James, you knew he loved playing basketball and will tell you in a heartbeat that Lebron doesn't compare to Mike; Michael Jordan that is. He was a kind, gentle person, and very hardworking. He had worked and retired from both Johns Hopkins Hospital and University of Maryland Medical Center in their sterile processing departments.
He leaves to mourn: two sons, James Dantzler, III. and Jordan Dantzler; two grandchildren, Ellyssa Dantzler and Nathaniel Dantzler; one goddaughter, Crystal Linton; one brother, Daryl "Ronnie" Dantzler; and a host of other relatives and friends.
