James Paul Davidson

Mr. James Paul Davidson, age 94, of Bonifay, Florida passed away December 9, 2023, at his home surrounded by his family. He was born July 15, 1929, in Washington County Florida to the late Joseph Sanford Davidson and Susan Easter Green Davidson. In addition to his parents, Paul was preceded in death by his first wife, Cathryn Coatney Davidson, one son, James Keith Davidson, and three siblings, Freeman Davidson, Udon Davidson, and Melba Ruth Davis.
Mr. Davidson is survived by his wife of 45 years, Neta Davidson of Bonifay, FL; two sons, Paul Davidson Jr and wife Leann of Bonifay, FL and Robert Searcy of Bonifay, FL; seven grandchildren, Kris Searcy, Susan Davidson, Katelyn Hicks and husband Robby, Tiffany West and husband Donny, Savanah Lollie and husband Jeff, Jacob Davidson, and Clayton Davidson; twelve great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Wednesday, December 13, 2023, at Poplar Head Independent Free Will Baptist Church with Rev. John Chance officiating. Interment will follow in the Poplar Head Independent Free Will Baptist Church Cemetery with Peel Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 PM Tuesday, December 12, 2023, at Peel Funeral Home.
