James De Spain Obituary
James F. De Spain of Barrington, 70, born April 17, 1955, in Akron, Ohio, passed away Saturday, November 1 at Good Shepherd Hospital. James retired from a successful career in retail management at Toys R Us and Venture, and was a graduate of Saint Viator High School, and attended Harper College in Palatine.
James was also a member of Saint Anne's Roman Catholic Church in Barrington.
He was the son of Frank and Dorothy De Spain, brother of Steven (Eileen) De Spain; uncle of Matthew (Juliana) De Spain; and family member and friend to many who knew and loved him greatly.
Visitation will be held on Friday, November 7, 2025 from 9:30 AM until the funeral mass at 10:30 AM at Saint Anne Catholic Church, 120 Ela St. (Corner of Franklin and Ela Sts.) Barrington. Entombment to follow at 2:30 PM at All Saints Catholic Cemetery, Des Plaines.
