It is with heavy hearts yet profound gratitude that we honor the life of James "Craig" DeBernardo of
Richboro, Pennsylvania, who passed away at home on Saturday, January 10, 2026, at the age of 70.
Craig made everyone feel welcome with his natural warmth and genuine care for others. Known for his quick wit, distinct laughter and generous spirit, Craig had a rare ability to make people feel comfortable. Whether offering sound advice, sharing a story or making drinks to start the celebration, Craig had a presence that made life more enjoyable for everyone around him. He was a gift.
Craig was a trusted source of wisdom for many, especially his daughters, who valued his guidance deeply - particularly when it came to life's big decisions and finances. His advice was always thoughtful, steady and rooted in love. Craig touched countless lives through lifelong friendships, business mentorship and coaching soccer. His encouragement and leadership helped others become successful and he left a lasting impression on so many.
Two years ago, Craig faced major surgeries with the same strength and determination that defined his life. Throughout that difficult time, Craig never stopped fighting to get back to his family. His bravery and grit earned him these last two precious years. He traveled back to his favorite places - fishing in Canada and going to the beach in OCMD. He celebrated his 70th birthday with his family. He was able to walk his daughter, Krystal down the aisle and meet his second granddaughter. He was able to celebrate another Eagles Super Bowl win (GO BIRDS!) and he spent cherished time with his granddaughters, Willow and Nora, which brought him immense joy and pride.
Above all else, Craig was a devoted husband, father & Poppo. Craig and Sharon shared a special relationship - built on love, respect, and unity. Together they made every decision as a team and built a legacy of family, commitment and love that will continue through generations. His daughters and grandchildren are a testament to the life he and Sharon built together.
Craig's passing leaves an immeasurable void for so many. He was so deeply loved and he will be forever missed. Everyone lucky enough to have had Craig in their life was better because of it. Though his absence feels unfair - his laughter, wisdom and love will live on in all who were fortunate enough to know him.
Craig was the beloved husband of 45 years to Sharon and a loving father of his two girls, Danielle Tanton (Brad) and Krystal Ollinger (Zach). He is also survived by his two beautiful grandchildren Willow Tanton and Lenora Ollinger, and his two brothers Richard (Barbara) and John DeBernardo, niece, nephews and countless friends. Born in
Bristol, PA, Craig was the son of the late Richard and Lenora DeBernardo.
A celebration of Craig's life will be held privately by the family. Please contact the family for arrangement details.
