Visitation: 10-11 am Thursday, June 6, 2024, Pleasantview Baptist Church, 4400 Pleasantview Drive, Arlington, Texas 76017. Service: 11 am Thursday, June 6, 2024, Pleasantview Baptist Church. Interment: 10 am Wednesday, June 12, 2024, Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery, 2000 Mountain Creek Parkway, Dallas, Texas 75211.
Jim was born on May 29, 1944, in Graham, Texas, to Joe and Lynn (Gunn) Diffee. He was raised in Bowie, Texas.
He graduated from high school in Childress, Texas. Then, he joined the Navy in 1963 where he served in Vietnam. After his discharge, he resided in the D/FW metroplex, attended Arlington Baptist University, and graduated in 1976.
Jim was a journeyman electrician who worked for Park Row Lighting. He also owned his own business for many years. Family was essential and he loved spending time with them. He loved everything about UT, especially UT baseball and UT girls' softball.
As a man of faith, Jim loved attending church and serving his Lord and Savior.
