Anna Diffee Obituary

Anna Mae Delia (Terrio) Diffee, 82, of Granville, New York, passed away peacefully at home on October 2, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. Born on September 15, 1943, in Hudson Falls, she was the daughter of Wilfred Joseph Terrio and Rose Alma (Daire) Terrio.

Anna married the love of her life, Clark Fredrick Diffee Sr., and together they built a life centered on family, love and faith. They were blessed with eight children and two heavenly babies. Anna was known for her kindness, compassion, and gentle spirit. She loved singing, gardening, sewing, puzzles, caring for her family, animals and plants, and reading her Bible and daily devotionals. Patsy Cline was her favorite singer, and she enjoyed sitting on her porch listening to the birds and wind chimes.

Anna worked as a dietitian and candy striper at Glens Falls Hospital, later on a potato farm, and she and Clark ran a cleaning business together. She also spent ten years working with family at her daughter's daycare, Precious Moments.

Anna is survived by her eight children: Robert (Sandra) Diffee, Corrina Diffee, John (Jody) Diffee, Sherry Diffee (Michael Caruso), Clark (Geneva) Diffee Jr., Melanie (Jerry) Dow, Malinda Diffee (Dana Sedelnick), and Michelle (Jeffrey) Greene; along with twenty grandchildren, nineteen great-grandchildren, family, and cherished friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Clark Fredrick Diffee Sr., their two babies, her parents, and her siblings Robert Terrio, Sunny Terrio, and Linda Lawrence.
