Funeral services for James Pat Doles, 83, of Rosepine, LA will be held at Rosin Creek Pentecostal Church in Harrisonburg, LA on Saturday, October 26, 2024 at 2PM with Kim Cook officiating. Interment will follow at Ellis Boothe Cemetery in Harrisonburg, LA, under the direction of Young's Funeral Home - Jonesville. The family will receive friends at the church on Friday, October 25, 2024 from 5PM until 9PM.
James Pat was born on Monday, November 25, 1940 in Bonita, LA and passed away peacefully on Friday, October 18, 2024 at his home with family. He proudly served his country in the United States Army during Vietnam and retired after 20 years.
He is reunited with the love of his life, Carmen Elaine Boothe Doles; parents Frank Morris Doles and Marion Bernice Robertson Doles; father & mother-in-law, Ellis M. Boothe, Sr. and Doretta Cooper Boothe.
Those left to cherish Pat's memories are his daughter, Jincy Newman & her husband David of Rosepine, LA; son, James Adrian Doles of Huntsville, AL; grandson, Cade Newman & his wife Risha of Kent, WA; granddaughter, Katherine Newman of Rosepine, LA; brother, Ellis Ray Doles & his wife Barbara of Grenta, LA; brothers-in-law, Leo Boothe & his wife Kim of Dunbarton, LA, Shelby Boothe & his wife Roylene of King Salmon, LA, and Ellis M. Boothe, Jr. & his wife Marybeth of Tew Lake, LA; and a host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
Those honoring Pat as pallbearers are Wyatt Boothe, Jake Winston, Barry Boothe, Joe Hall, Cory Perego, and Danny Rogers
In lieu of flowers, please send donation to Rosin Creek Pentecostal Church.
Honorary pallbearers will be Wiley Boothe, Patrick Boothe, Joey Boothe and Chris Boothe.
