Zack Meyers Obituary

Zack was born on Sunday, March 27, 1932 in Harrisonburg, LA and passed away Saturday, August 16, 2025 at his residence surrounded by loved ones. Zack was a godly man whose life reflected faith, humility, and devotion to the Lord. As a faithful member of Meyers Bend Pentecostal Church, he lived each day with prayer and purpose, always striving to honor God in word and deed. His hands were weathered from years of farming, yet his heart remained tender toward others. He saw the land not only as soil and seed, but as sacred ground entrusted to him by God. Through every season, Zack labored with gratitude, believing each harvest was a blessing from above. He was also a man of family, a loving husband, devoted dad, and proud grandfather. To many, he was more than kin; he was a trusted friend and caring uncle whose kindness and wisdom touched countless lives. His legacy lives on in faith, family, and the fields he loved.
He is reunited with his wife, Bobbie Meyers; parents, Donald Felser Meyers, Sr. and Mamie Inez Hughes Meyers; brother, Donald Felser "D.F." Meyers, Jr.; and sisters, Doris Meyers Watson, Inez Meyers Johnson, and Mary Edna Sanders.
Those left behind to cherish Zack's memories are his daughter, Sandy Floyd & her husband Billy of Harrisonburg, LA; grandsons, Jody Floyd & his wife Lindsey of Harrisonburg, LA and Toby Floyd & his wife Jenny of Jonesville, LA; great-grandsons, Zachary Floyd and Avery Floyd both of Jonesville, LA; great-granddaughter, Hannah Floyd of Baskin, LA; four great-great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
Those honoring Zack as pallbearers are Jody Floyd, Toby Floyd, Donald Wayne Meyers, Trey Watson, Brad Pentecost, and Zachary Floyd.
Honorary pallbearers will be Charles Spears, Marty Smith, Kenny Barker, and Avery Floyd.
