Mrs. Kathleen Gibbs Doles

Kathleen Gibbs Doles, age 97 of Americus, GA passed away Thursday, May 01, 2025. A graveside service will be held in the Dublin Memorial Gardens Cemetery, on Saturday May 3, 2025 at 2:00 P.M. Rev. Marcus Tripp will officiate the service.
Kathleen Gibbs Doles, was born in Tifton, GA on September 18, 1927. She was the daughter of the late Luther Gibbs and Lillian Garren Gibbs. She retired from Pryor Alarm Manufacturing in Dublin, GA and was a member of Woodland Heights Baptist Church.
Survivors include her daughter, Deborah Herndon of Americus, GA; her son, Chris Doles (Dana) of Dublin, GA; her grandchildren; Martin Lee Herndon (Pat) of Macon, GA, Jay Herndon (Kim) of Orlando, FL, Mark Braswell (Tammy) of Macon, GA, Jenny Nash of Dublin, GA, and Brett Pope of Dearing, GA. Her great grandchildren; Taylor Braswell, Bowen Braswell, Blake Braswell, Will Herndon, Ali Herndon, Matthew Pope, Sarah Catherine Herndon, and Hannah Keene. She is also survived by four great-great grandchildren; Blakely Braswell, Hanson Braswell, Garner Braswell, Percival Pope.
In addition to her parents Ms. Doles was preceded in death by her husband Jessie Clark Doles, her daughter Sandra Eller, and her siblings Irene Nicholas and John Fred Gibbs.
