Mr. Layfatte Lee Revell

Mr. Layfatte Lee Revell, Jr., age 80, passed away Sunday, September 7, 2025 at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, September 11, 2025 at Shiloh Baptist Church. Rev. Stephen Fripp and Rev. Hugh Harbort will officiate the service. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens. The family will greet friends Wednesday, September 10th from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. at the chapel of Aldridge Funeral & Cremation Services. Layfatte Lee Revell, Jr. was born September 6, 1945 in Manchester, GA. He was the son of the late Layfatte Lee Revell, Sr. and Ruth Rebecca Newman Revell. Mr. Revell worked for American General Life Insurance Company as an Agent for 31 years of service and later worked for Arrow Pest Control until his retirement. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and a devoted Christian and member of Shiloh Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife, Sara Ann Brown Revell of Americus and his son and daughter-in-law, Chris Revell (Katrina) of Americus. Mr. Revell is also survived by two grandsons, Brandon Revell, Cale Revell and a brother and sister-in-law, Jimmy Revell (Priscilla) of Doerun, GA.
