James W. Douglas, 74 of Plattsburgh, died Friday November 14, 2025 at the UVHN-CVPH Medical Center.
He was born on February 7th, 1951, the son of Charles and Barbara Douglas.
James was enlisted in the Army during the 70's. He enjoyed helping his family, cooking, music and watching a
good New York Yankee ball game.
He is survived by his children, Amy(Patrick) Bobbie and James (Simone)Douglas. Grandchildren, Jake and Caitlin Douglas.
Brothers, David (Sandra) Douglas and Wayne (Angela)Douglas. And several nieces and nephews.
We all greatly loved and admired him and will miss him dearly.
He is predeceased by his parents, Charles and Barbara Douglas. Along with his sisters, Marjorie, Diane, Nancy, Julie and Charlene. Also uncles, aunts, a niece and great niece predeceased him.
There will be no calling hours. A celebration of life will be held on December 6th, 2025 from 10-2.
All are welcomed to join us in remembering our loved one.
