Dragone, James V. "Jimmy Cheese" of Watertown, died peacefully on April 9th. Beloved husband of the late Rose M. (Carroccino) Dragone. Father of the late Karen J. Norton Dragone and James A. Dragone. Dear brother of Angie Pinnone and the late; Frank, Albert and his wife Lenora, Mary and her husband Carl and Sandra and her husband Charles. Grandfather of Nicole Luhrs and her husband Matthew and great grandfather of Dominic, Katalena and Gavin Luhrs. Also survived by his many nieces, nephews, family and best friend/honorary family member Maureen DiRusso. Son of the late Giuseppe and Rose (Marchio) Dragone. Late US Air Force Veteran, longtime Sons of Italy member and lifelong Watertown resident.
Funeral from the DeVito Funeral Home 761 Mt. Auburn St., WATERTOWN on Tuesday at 9 am followed by his funeral mass at 10 am in Sacred Heart Church. Entombment to follow in Mt. Auburn Cemetery. Relatives and friends are invited to visit in the funeral home on Monday from 4-7pm. In lieu of flowers please make a donation in memory of James to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital at stjude.org/donate. Visit devitofuneralhomes.com to view an online guestbook.
