James Arnold Dunn ObituaryJames Arnold Dunn, of Dublin, MD, passed away Tuesday, October 28, at the age of 85.
Born to the late Fannie Joyce Malone and James Monroe Dunn in Keiser, Arkansas, JD, as he was known to many, was a loquacious man who loved to chat and get to know everybody he met.
After serving in the U.S. Navy for nine years, he became a long-haul trucker for nearly 40 years. After he retired, he loved sharing his stories-especially about the routes he drove and the people he encountered.
JD was passionate about cars, especially his beloved Thunderbird and Mustang. He was meticulous in caring for his cars and took pride in keeping them pristine. He loved nothing more than hearing the roar of an engine, often modifying his vehicles to be louder.
He is survived by three daughters: Lynne Powell and her husband, Dennis; Lisa Seamans and her husband, Tony; and Lori Clark; seven grandchildren: Will Mull and his wife, Lezlie; Kaysey Canada and her husband, Derrick; Colton Seamans; Kaylin Seamans; Thomas Moore; Daniel Holt; and Zakri Clark and his wife, Dessie; and five great-grandchildren: Sawyer, Hunter, Collyns, Addison, and Jace. He is also survived by one brother, Joe Dunn, and his wife, Dawn; and a niece, Kaitlin Dunn, and her husband, Will Frauenfelder.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a brother, Jerry Dunn.
