James David "Jim" Eberst

James David "Jim" Eberst, 77, of Gilbert, AZ, passed away peacefully on March 28, 2021, at his home with his loving wife and family by his side. Jim was born on March 21, 1944, in Toledo, Ohio, to William E. and Marie Therese Eberst.

Jim is survived by his loving wife of 40 years, Cecelia; daughters, Mary, Jacque (Tom), Jennifer and Melissa; grandchildren, Ashley (Adam), Cameron and Olivia; sister, Sue; and many nieces and nephews.

Jim graduated from Waite High School in Toledo, Ohio, in 1962. He joined the U.S. Marine Corps in 1963 serving his beloved country for four years. He was a very proud patriot and veteran. Jim worked as a electrician and electrical inspector until he retired in 2010.

A memorial service honoring Jim will be held at Messinger Pinnacle Peak Mortuary, 8555 E Pinnacle Peak Road, Scottsdale, AZ 85255, on Monday, April 5th, at 11:00 a.m. followed by a Military Honors burial at the National Cemetery.

Thinking about Jim and found his obit. He was a wonderful guy. Helped with his house here in Toledo. Never forget the motorcycle rides we had. Gone to soon. RIP.
