James Robert Epifano III, 78, of New Lexington, Ohio died on Tuesday, January 21, 2025 at Genesis Hospital in Zanesville, Ohio.
Born July 13, 1946 in Zanesville, Ohio to the late James Robert and Faye Macaluso Epifano Jr.
Jimmy was known by everyone as "Farmer Jim" and was a member of Saint Rose Catholic Church, B.P.O.E. #509 and Eagles # 2070 of New Lexington, Ohio. He was the biggest Ohio State Buckeyes fan and loved watching football with his brother. Jimmy loved gambling and going to Las Vegas, playing cards, watching westerns and was a big Donald Trump fan. Jimmy was a devoted father, grandfather and loved by many.
Survived by his wife, Rhonda Williams Epifano; daughters, Carolyn (Tony) Craig and Lisa Wesney; son, Jimmy (Laura) Epifano; step children, Jennifer (Shadd) Channel, Jesse (Kristen) Dusenberry and Jamie Nichols; grandchildren, Steven, T.J., Mollie, Tessa, Lake, Josie, Ronni, Ethan, Sonni and Kelan; great – grandchildren, Madison, Julian, Evelyn, Adelyn, Knox and Berkli; sister, Cindy (Bill) Nash and Diane (Eric) Boyer; brother, Don (Susie) Epifano and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In addition to his parents preceded in death by son – in – law, Ed Wesley and lifetime friend Bill Pacino.
A Memorial Mass will be held at 10:30am on Saturday, February 1, 2025 at Saint Rose Catholic Church, 309 North Main Street, New Lexington, Ohio with Father Emmanuel Adu Addai as celebrant with burial following in New Lexington Cemetery. A Celebration of Life and Elks services will follow the burial in the basement of the Elks Lodge, 109 South Main Street, New Lexington, Ohio.
