James A Evans of Collinsville IL passed away peacefully in his sleep at his home, surrounded by loved ones on May 28th, 2025.
He was born in East St Louis, IL on September 17,1949 to Ed & Geneva Evans who preceded him in death. He is also preceded in death by his dear son Matthew Allen Evans in 2018, a brother Jerry Alan Evans in 1969, as well as a sister Joyce Lynne Evans in 2024.
He is survived by his son & daughter in law James Ryan & Laura Evans. Jim leaves behind 3 beautiful grandsons Diego, Drew, & little Ellis. He is also survived by 2 brothers & 2 sisters: Leon E. Evans (Bea), Victor Wayne Evans (Jeanie). Brenda (Evans) Henneke (Lyle), Kara (Evans) Force (Steve).
He will be missed by all his friends & family.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
