James E. "Jimmy" Everett

James E. “Jimmy” Everett, age 88 of Jefferson, GA passed away on Friday, March 21, 2025 at home surrounded by his family. Jimmy was an Army veteran and a 1955 graduate of Walland High School. He was a member of Foundation Church in Pendergrass, GA. Jimmy was preceded in death by his parents, Enoch and Blanche Garner Everett; brothers Ralph, Tommy, S.E. “Buddy” Everett; parents-in-law, Charlie and Nora White; son-in-law, Carl Beriault; brothers-in-law, Jim and Milburn White. He is survived by his wife of 69 years, Ruthie White Everett; son, Tim Everett; daughter, Jama Everett Beriault; grandchildren, Jason Beriault (Jessica), Zane Everett (Anita), Chad Beriault (Angel), Zanna Everett (Donnie Lathery); 6 great grandchildren; sisters, Dorothy Hayes (Jim), Wilma Caughron, Barbara Taylor (Gary), Shirley Jones (David); many nieces and nephews, cousins and extended family. The family will receive friends on Friday, March 28, 2025 from 12:30 PM until 1:30 PM in Smith’s Trinity Chapel with a funeral service at 1:30 PM with Rev. Danny Gregory officiating.
