James Falgout Obituary
Publish in a newspaper
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 1, 2024, at Samart Funeral Home on West Park in Gray from 9:00 am till 11:00 am. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at St. Louis Catholic Church on Bayou Blue Rd. at 12:00 pm. Interment will follow at the church's cemetery.
He is survived by his devoted wife of 60 years, Dena Guidry Falgout; children, Chad James Falgout and wife Natalie, and Tammy Falgout Brown and husband Cleve; grandchildren, Cooper and Channing Brown; and many extended family members and friends that he loved so dearly.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Irvin and Melva Falgout.
James will forever be remembered as a kind and fun-loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend. He enjoyed fishing, sports, and spending time with family and friends. James also enjoyed hard work and spent his years building his businesses. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
The family would like to thank the nurses and staff at Clarity Hospice, and UAMS Health - Myeloma Center for their care and compassion. The family would also like to thank everyone for their prayers and well-wishes during this time.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made towards the UAMS Health - Myeloma Center at cancer.uams.edu in James' name and memory.
