Mr. James Cornelius Farmer, Jr. of Port Tampa, FL. passed away on Saturday, March 11, 2023. A Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 4, 2023, 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Ray Williams Memorial Chapel, 301 N. Howard Avenue, Tampa, FL 33606, Pastor Tracey Farmer, Officiating. MASK RECOMMENDED.
Mr. James Cornelius Farmer, Jr. was born on October 14, 1939, to Mr. James C. Farmer, Sr., and Mrs. Dorothy Rawls Farmer, who preceded him in death. While his earthly departure is difficult for family and friends, there is great comfort in knowing he is present with the Lord.
James C. Farmer, Jr. was an incredible father, grandfather, great-grandfather, uncle, cousin, and friend. He impacted all whom God placed before him. He has left a legacy on the earth and will be deeply missed.
James was the oldest of seven children. He was blessed to have one beautiful sister, Cynthia Diane Farmer, who preceded him in death.
Today, his surviving legacy is: His Three Beautiful Heartbeats, Pastor Tracey P. Farmer, James C. (Neal) Farmer, III (Rosie), and Cassandra (Troy) Germain; Grand Heartbeats, Al-Lateef (Sharea) Farmer, Tranaé P. Farmer- Boston, Donte Beverley, James C. Farmer IV, and Ashante Farmer; his one and only Great- Grand Heartbeat, Brooklyn Beverley; five supportive and loving brothers, Bernard (Joyce) Farmer, Stephen (Carolyn) Farmer, Donald (Anita) Farmer, Gerald (Lisa) Farmer, and Gerry Farmer; a special love and friend, Ms. Mae Coleman; and a host of nephews, nieces, family, and friends.
