September 13, 1955 – December 2, 2025

James Darrell Fowler, 70, passed away on December 2, 2025, with family by his side. Born on September 13, 1955, Darrell lived a life marked by generosity, loyalty, and a heart that touched everyone he met. For the last three years, he was blessed to be married to the love of his life, Cheryl, and together they enjoyed a quiet, meaningful life on their farm in Brooker, Florida.

Darrell found joy in being outdoors-whether on the water, working around the farm, spending time with his guns, or simply soaking in a peaceful afternoon. Above all else, he cherished time with his family. His kindness, humor, and steady presence made an unforgettable impact on everyone who knew him. Darrell was known as one of the most generous and good-hearted souls, always willing to help anyone who crossed his path.

He is survived by his wife, Cheryl Fowler; his stepchildren, Heather Johnson (Byron), Holly Lisenby, and Ian Fleischmann (Naomi); his grandchildren, Trey and Tristan Lisenby; Mallory Jones; Savannah and Ayden Johnson. He is also survived by his sister-in-law, Donna Fowler; and his nieces Kimberly Harrell (Glenn), Kristi Fowler (Brian), and Jamie Fowler Linebarger (Jimmy). Darrell leaves behind great-nieces Ashley Wilson (Garhett), Chesney Crouch, and Callie Crouch, along with extended family, Lauren Cauley (Stephen Wheatley & son Jace); and countless friends who loved him deeply.

A Celebration of Life for James Darrell Fowler will be held. Please contact the Fowler family(Kim Harrell [email protected]) or the Poe Springs Club House & Pavilion for date and time of service.
