It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James (Jim) Arnold Fox, Jr. (Seymour, Tennessee), who passed away on the morning of July 20, 2025, after his fight with cancer. Jim was the oldest of 4 children of the late James A. and Louise Fox, and was 80 years old.

He served the US Navy as a radioman in Turkey, and attended UT Knoxville, and later graduated Tennessee State Technical Institute with an Associate's Degree in Electrical Engineering. Jim pursued a career with TVA, for over 20 years and provided support for many projects from establishing power line right of ways, to electrical engineering work at Bellefonte Nuclear Plant.

Jim and his loving wife Helen were married in 1970, and after their retirement, they both enjoyed spending time working in the yard. Jim enjoyed many hobbies from woodworking to building and flying RC airplanes. He was a loving and faithful husband, brother, and friend to many.

He was a member of Alice Bell Baptist Church and is now reunited with his loved ones in Heaven and in the arms of his Savior.

Jim is preceded in death by his parents James A, and Louise C Fox, sister Mary F Lawson, brother Jerry L Fox, brother-in-law John Lawson, and niece Melissa Fox. He is survived by wife Helen, sister-in-law Donna Fox, brother Alan (Regina) Fox, cousins, and special devoted nephews, as well as grand-niece and nephews.

Family and friends will gather on Thursday July 24th,at 10 AM for a graveside service at French Broad Church of the Brethren - 3306 Brethren Church Rd, White Pine, TN 37890
