James Campbell Fraser

James Campbell Fraser, age 81, of North Attleboro, formerly of Foxboro, passed away

January 27, 2026, at Milford Gardens rehabilitation center. Born on June 6, 1944,

James was predeceased by his parents, Emma (Comings) and James Fraser, also by

his sister Gail (Fraser) VanDenBerghe. He was the beloved husband of Gail

(Stevenson) Fraser, loving father of James M. Fraser (Lisa), Lisa (Fraser) McCarthy

(Tim) and Bryan Fraser (Shauna) and beloved grandfather of Taylor Fraser, Katy

McCarthy, Mackenzi Fraser, Ryan McCarthy and James Fraser.

He proudly served in the US Navy and was on active duty during the Vietnam war.

James acted as Vice President of Foxboro National Bank and was founder and owner

of Fraser & Sons Painting for over 40 years. He coached Foxboro High School Football

for 15 years. James was inducted into the Foxboro High School Athletics Hall of Fame

Class of 2025, as one of the most celebrated football players of his era and a four-year

starting catcher on the baseball team.

James enjoyed spending time with his family, golfing, and vacationing in Aruba and

Waterville Valley, NH.

Memorial Services will be held Friday, February 6th from 2:00-4:00pm at Roberts and Sons Funeral

Home, 30 South Street, Foxborough. A brief service to follow at 4:00pm.
