Erwin Charles Adams

NORTH ATTLEBORO – Erwin Charles Adams, 96, of North Attleboro, formerly of Franklin, passed away peacefully at home on Friday, January 23, 2026, surrounded by his loving family.

Born on May 21, 1929, in Franklin, Massachusetts, he was the son of the late J. Prescott Adams and Barbara (Shippee) Adams. Erwin was happily married to Grace E. (Miller) Adams for 75 years. He is survived by his two sons: James Adams and his wife Melody from North Attleboro, MA, Don Adams and his wife Miriam, from Avon, MA. Erwin is also survived by his 3 cherished grandchildren, Jonathan Adams, Jennifer (Adams) Illauer (and her husband Ethan), and Jeffrey Adams. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

For many years, Erwin developed and manufactured nutritional supplements.
He loved spending time with his family. He particularly enjoyed skiing, swimming, camping and traveling.

Erwin was remembered and loved by so many because of his love, devotion, and hard work as one of Jehovah's Witnesses. He was baptized as one of Jehovah's Witnesses in 1941 at the age of 12. His love for Jehovah God and people motivated him to volunteer his time and energy in the building of some 80 plus Kingdom Halls throughout New England. He always had an active share in the preaching work, telling others about the Bible's promise of a future paradise- a life free of suffering and pain, and God's wonderful promise of a resurrection to life right here on earth.

Erwin was an outstanding example and spiritual inspiration to all. He touched the lives of many who knew and loved him.
