Mr. James "Sam" Freeman

Funeral services for Mr. James Edward Freeman of Albany, Georgia will be held Saturday, August 5, 2017 at 1:00 at Zion Hope Baptist Church with Reverend George F. Monts officiating. Burial will follow in the Bethel Primitive Baptist Cemetery.
Mr. James Edward Freeman was born March 30, 1954 in Clayton, Alabama to the late Annie B. Freeman Myers and the late Sampson Myers. He was employed at Cooper Lighting for several years. James was united in Holy Matrimony to Van Freeman and to this union one child was born. He passed away on July 27, 2017 at Pruitt Health Care in Albany, Georgia. He was preceded in death by one daughter, Sheila Freeman; a brother and a sister.
He leaves to cherish his memories and celebrate his life: his wife of over 40 years, Mrs. Van Freeman; his sons: Roderick Freeman of Camilla, Georgia, Reginald McCalaster and Germane Freeman of Albany, Georgia; his brother, Gene Myers, Sr. of Americus, Georgia and his sister, Annie Doris Woodard of Newport News, Virginia; five aunts: Polly Ann Freeman of Midway, Alabama, Ada Pearl Scovil of Clayton, Alabama, Mary Jane Johnson of Eufala, Alabama, Clevie Dell Davis and Lottie McFolley both of Georgetown, Georgia; two uncles: John Freeman and Michael Freeman of Georgetown, Georgia; a special devoted grandson, Crod Freeman; a host of other loving relatives and friends.
