James Freiley Obituary
James Darnell "Jim" Freiley, age 83, passed away peacefully at his home with his loving family by his side on Tuesday, March 14, 2023. He was born in Henderson on August 2, 1939 to James Monroe and Annie Laura (Kuentsler) Freiley. He was a Tool Pusher in the oilfield industry. He served our country in the US Army. He married "Maugie" ( Margaret Ann) Schultz and together they raised their 4 children.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors include his wife Maugie Freiley of George West.
His four children James Guy (Libby) Freiley of George West; James Andrew (Shannon) Freiley of Canyon Lake; Marcie Ann Freiley of Cypress and James Lloyd Freiley of George West. He is also survived by his two siblings Carolyn (Wayne) Woods of Livingston and Jack (Susie) Freiley of Beeville. He was blessed with six grandchildren: Augie Freiley, Greyson Freiley, Maggie Freiley, Tate Freiley, Graham Freiley and Jaxon Freiley and many family and friends that love and will miss him dearly.
Visitation will be on Friday, March 17, 2023 from 5-7PM with a Rosary recited at 7 PM at the home of James and Margaret Freiley which is located at 914 Fannin Street in George West.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, March 18, 2023 at 10 AM at the St. George Catholic Church in George West. Burial to follow at the Gussettville Cemetery, Live Oak County. Pallbearers are Augie Freiley, Greyson Freiley, Tate Freiley, Graham Freiley, Jaxon Freiley, Wesley Woods, Walter Woods and Keith Boeck. Honorary Pallbearers are Ross Brown, Bobby Pate, Lee Roy Jackson, Charles Vanderslice, Julian Olivero, Steven Dischinger, Mark Dischinger, Lee Dischinger, Ronnie Aguierre and Mike East.
In lieu of flowers, donation can be made to the Gussettville Cemetery
Services entrusted to Roberson Funeral Home, Three Rivers.
