Chris was born in Franklin, IN on June 4, 1970. He grew up in Perry Township and graduated from Perry Meridian High School in 1988. He then went on to earn both an undergraduate degree in accounting, and an MBA degree from the University of Indianapolis.
Chris' career spanned several companies with roles in accounting and auditing. His longest and most recent tenure was as an Internal Audit Manager with Allison Transmission in Indianapolis, which allowed him to travel to many countries throughout the world. He retired from Allison in 2022.
Chris was a loving father who leaves behind two sons, Axel and Cash Gardner. He is also survived by his mother, Vicki Parrish, sister, Stacey Williams (Rob), and stepmom, Billi Gardner. He was preceded in death by his father, Stephen E. Gardner
Chris was a beloved son, brother and father and his memory will live on in the hearts of those who loved him.
No services are planned at this time but a private celebration of life with family and close friends will be held at a later date.
