James Ralph "Jim" Giddings, age 85, of Washburn, Missouri passed away Thursday, July 31, 2025 at Circle of Life Hospice in Bentonville, Arkansas.

He was born June 17, 1940 in Washburn, Missouri the son of Frank and Tillie (Henbest) Giddings, who preceded him in death. Also preceding him in death were four brothers, Bill, Bud, John, and Bert and two sisters, Thelma and Mary.

Surviving are one son, Joseph Giddings of Little Rock, Arkansas; two daughters, Kasey Tate of Cassville, Missouri and Kara Gonzalez and her husband Fernando of Rocky Comfort, Missouri; one sister, Jane Brown of Wichita, Kansas; nine grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.

Jim grew up and attended school in Washburn, Missouri graduating from Washburn High School. He served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. Jim was employed as a machinist by Emerson Electric and Kennametal, Incorporated in Rogers, Arkansas for several years from where he retired in 2002. He enjoyed guns, shooting, and spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.

Services will be held at 10:00 A.M. Monday, August 4, 2025 at Fohn Funeral Home in Cassville. Brother Tony Ball will conduct the services. Burial with military honors will be at Washburn Prairie Cemetery in Washburn, Missouri.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 until 3:00 P.M. Sunday at Fohn Funeral Home in Cassville.

Contributions may be made to Circle of Life Hospice in memory of Jim.
