James F. Gracy, age 95, passed away peacefully July 9 at Nottingham Health & Rehab, Olathe Kansas. He was born in Barnett, Missouri. He served in the United States Air Force stationed at Holloman Air Force Base, New Mexico. After honorable discharge he moved to Lenexa in 1956. He then went to work for the US Postal Service. Upon his retirement he moved to Versailles, Missouri and later to Stover, Missouri. He was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy, second wife, Marjorie, brother, Carl Gracy and grandson, Justin. He is survived by his sister, Leanna Hoskins, daughter Elaine (Stan) and son Dennis (Evelyn). He is also survived by grandsons, Jerod (Cheryl) and James Gracy, and 6 great-grandchildren. James was a quiet and gentle man with a ready sense of humor. Anyone who met him liked him.
