James Gregory Obituary

James A. “Jim” Gregory, of Boyertown and formerly of Zieglerville, passed away on Sunday, September 11, 2022 at Pottstown Hospital Tower Health at age 91. He was the widower of Florence K. (Sacks) Gregory. He was born in Luzerne County, a son of the late Clarence W. and Mable J. (Jones) Gregory. Jim served in the Army National Guard and was employed as a truck driver for Rahns Construction. He enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his great-grandchildren and also loved his faithful companion, his dog Bernie. He is survived by a daughter with whom he resided, Cheryl Lynn Degerberg and her husband, Keith; grandchildren: Abigail K. Yasso and husband Justin; Elizabeth Vose and husband Eric; great-grandchildren: Daniel Peterson, Asa Yasso, Sorcha Yasso, and Elijah Vose. He was also preceded in death by his siblings: Seba, Carola, Milton, John, Mary, George and David. Relatives and friends are invited to his Graveside Service on Friday, September 16, 2022 at 1:30 PM at Limerick Garden of Memories, 44 Swamp Pike, Limerick, PA. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Jim’s memory are requested to the American Heart Assoc. by visiting www.heart.org or the American Diabetes Association by visiting www.diabetes.org. Online condolences may be offered at www.mannslonakerfuneralhome.com Arrangements are entrusted to Mann-Slonaker Funeral Home, East Greenville, PA.
