James Hanson Obituary
James was born April 16, 1947 in Fargo, North Dakota. He married, Shuhong Hanson in 2004.
James spent his life helping others and caring deeply for animals. He had a passion for riding his motorcycle and embraced fitness, health, and overall wellness. Later in life, he continued to surprise those around him by discovering and developing new talents, including crafting sugar skull ukuleles, just one of the many skills he joyfully explored.
Survivors include: wife, Shuhong Hanson; daughter, Jiajia Hanson; son-in-law, Konstantin Izotov; dog, "Huey" Hubert; stepdaughter, Sarah Ellison; son-in-law, Nate Ellison; and grandsons, Rhett and Judge Ellison.
Visitation will be held from 10am-12pm on Wednesday, February 4, 2026 at Heartland Cremation & Burial Society, 6113 Blue Ridge Blvd Raytown, MO 64133.

Memory Eternal Jim (Seraphim)! What a special man. I knew him from many years ago, he was incredibly kind and patient. He became endearing mostly by his actions and few words. I'm thankful that I knew him when I did.
