The Hayes family has been so generous and kind to me. Every time I came over their house they would make me feel welcome, appreciated, and more often than not would give a gift. I am so sorry for the pain these good people are going through. May God be with them

This is the saddest obituary I´ve read. Though I didn´t know him, I wish I had. A blessing and now an angel.

After I met Jay in class a few years ago, he became a great friend of mine and was always such a genuine and happy person and he will be missed forever. I have very fond memories of visiting Jay over the summer in NH a couple of years ago and will never forget those memories and the countless others throughout college with my friend. To Jay´s family, I am so sorry for your loss, God Bless you all, and I will be keeping you all and Jay in my prayers.

Something I always learned from James is that there are no limits to what you can do if you put hard work and effort into the things you love. He was an inspiration and best friend to many and a blessing to all who get to cross his path
