James was born on February 3, 1958 in Topeka, KS where he resided his entire life after spending some time in the service.
James is a man of faith who believed in God and faithfully enjoyed watching sermons on Sunday mornings.
James enjoyed watching sports with his favorite teams being the Kansas City Chiefs, Baltimore Ravens, Chicago Bulls and Golden Warriors. He loved when "March Madness" came around each year. Jame's other hobbies included fishing, watching westerns, playing dominoes and loved spending time with family and friends.
James is preceded by his parents, Mattie and Persie Watson, his biological mother, Marion Young and a niece.
James leaves behind a significant other, LauDena Polk; five children, Gregory Young, Jr., Latoshia Irick, Sherrawn Young, Henry Reese III, Antrinette Norman; six brothers, Lawrence Watson, Steve Watson, Alonzo Watson, Andre Watson, Robbie (Cheryl) Calkins, Darrell Wordlow; twelve grandchildren and a host of family and friends who loved him deeply.
We will all cherish the love for James in our hearts forever.
