James Dale Hickey, 60, passed away on Saturday, October 8, 2022, at Western State Hospital, Hopkinsville, KY.
He was born December 20, 1961, at St. Anthony Hospital, Louisville, one of ten children born to Philip Clark Hickey and Mary Elizabeth Rice Hickey. In addition to his parents, James is also preceded in death by a brother and sister, Kevin and Mary Marie.
James is a veteran of the U.S. Army and a Catholic by faith.
He is survived by his sisters, Janet Hickey Upton (Roddy Corrigan) and Carol Hickey (Sandi), and brothers, Mark (Vicki), Paul (Beth), Stephen (Theresa), Barry (Edith), and Patrick (Phyllis). James is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews and other extended family who loved him dearly and he will be missed.
Funeral Services will be held at 11 am Saturday, October 15, 2022, at Ratterman Funeral Home, 3711 Lexington Road, St. Matthews. Visitation will be from 4-8 pm on Friday, October 14, 2022, at the funeral home and from 9-11 am on Saturday at the funeral home.
Memorial gifts in the form of contributions may be made to the Robley Rex V.A. Hospital.
