James Randell Higinbotham, 85, of Tipton, IN, passed away, Thursday, July 10, 2025 at Ascension St. Vincent, Anderson.
James was born on March 10, 1940 in Frankfort, IN to the late Roy and Martha (Randels) Higinbotham.
He was an ordained minister with the Wesleyan Holiness Church. He retired after serving 30 plus years with several churches in many states with the Wesleyan Holiness conference.
Those left to cherish his memory are his children, Pamela Sue (Doug) Cox of Clarksville, IN, Brenda Renee (Harold) Angel of Logan, OH, Teresa Ann (Daniel) Robbins of Asheboro, N.C., Mark Alan (Tina) Higinbotham of Beloit, OH, and Daniel (Kathy) Higinbotham of Tipton, IN; 18 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren, and one brother, Phillip Gordon Higinbotham of Atlanta, GA.
James was preceded in death by his parents, Roy and Martha Higinbotham; a grandson, Jason Higinbotham in 2017, and a brother, Bill Higinbotham.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm, Saturday, July 19, 2025 at the Noblesville Pilgrim Holiness Church, 1413 Westfield Rd., Noblesville, IN with Pastor John Forsee and Rev. Donald Adams officiating.
Burial will be at a later date at the convenience of the family.
Friends may call from 12:00 to 2:00 pm on Saturday at the church.
