Collinsville, Illinois - James V. "Jimmy" Hoef, Jr., age 48, of Collinsville, IL, born on August 26, 1974, in Belleville, IL, died on Saturday, December 31, 2022, at his residence surrounded by his family.
Jimmy was a graphic designer and designed packaging for 25 years.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Tony and Annie, nee Kupsky Hoef; Jim Mahan and Bonnie Wykoff; his father-in-law, Bradley Arcynski; his uncles, Ted Hoef, and Michael "Butch" Hoef; and his step-sister, Jodi Friederich.
Jimmy is survived by his wife, Amy Hoef of Collinsville, IL; his parents, Jim (Cindy) Hoef of O'Fallon, IL and Cindy (Don) Viviano of Troy, IL; his siblings, Jennifer (Adam) Cox of Collinsville, IL, Vicky (Kyle) Livorsi of Groveland, FL, Dominick (Mackenzie) Vivano of Aubrey, TX, and Zachary Friedrich of O'Fallon, IL; his nieces and nephews, Taylor and Zander Cox, Lance Grady, Jake and Kelsey Livorsi, and Ronnie and Molly Fietsam; his in-laws, Kim (Wally) Smith of Swansea, IL and Charlene Arcynski of Lebanon, IL; and his sister-in-law, Julie (Tim) Conder of Lynhaven, FL. Jimmy is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Visitation will be held on Friday, January 6, 2023, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Kassly Mortuary, Ltd., Fairview Heights, IL.
Funeral Service will be held on Friday, January 6, 2023, at 7:00 p.m. at Kassly Mortuary, Ltd., Fairview Heights, IL with Deacon Adam Cox officiating. In honor of Jimmy, please feel free to wear your Star Wars attire.
