James M. Hudson, 42, of Memphis, Missouri passed away Thursday evening, February 6, 2025 at the Blessing Hospital in Quincy, Illinois. The son of Richard Hudson and Rebecca A.Braden, he was born February 18, 1982 at Oskaloosa, Iowa. James graduated from Scotland County High School with the class of 2000.
Before his health declined he worked doing different jobs, the latest was Hill Phoenix at Keosauqua, Iowa
James enjoyed fishing and spending time in the outdoors every chance he got. He also liked to be with his family and friends doing things together especially his daughters Taylor and Lilly.
Preceding him in death was his grandparents, Pat and Linda Hudson, Alford and Waunetta Six, and uncle, David Hudson.
He is survived by his daughters, Taylor Hudson and Lilly Hudson, father, Richard Hudson (Rhonda), Brandon Elenbaas, mother, Becky Braden (Matt), his sister, Madison Braden, and significant other, Stephanie Lowry
Memorials are suggested to the Diabetes Foundation and may be left at or mailed to the Payne Funeral Chapel, 202 E. Madison St., Memphis, Missouri 63555.
